Tonight at 5:59 we got the e-mail we've been waiting for - our embassy appointment! It's Friday the 16th at 7:15 in the morning. We'll probably fly down on Thursday and pick her up, then go to the embassy the next morning. Her visa will be ready to pick up on Monday at 3:30, and we'll fly home on Tuesday. So we'll have a little Guatemalan vacation, I guess, hanging out all weekend. It feels so good to have that settled, and to be able to make some plans at last!
Thank you to everyone for all of your prayers and encouragement during this unbelievably stressful journey! Can't wait to post some pictures once we get there!
