FFF - My Snugglebugs

It's starting to get into the 30s at night here, and Mia thrashes around so much in her sleep, I figured I better get her some warmer PJs. I just think there's nothing as cute as a little one in a blanket sleeper, and I missed them so much when Claire started potty training. We just couldn't do them anymore with Miss Wait-Until-The-Last-Second-To-Go. But last winter I found some in Claire's size, and I think they both look so cute!

FFF - Fun in the leaves

The leaves are just beautiful here, and I have to wonder what Mia thinks - but she doesn't comment much more than just naming the colors of the leaves as I point them out. Today when we got home from school they decided to rake the yard, but only ended up piling up a few feet worth of leaves, and then playing in them. They were having the best time burying each other in them. Then one would come in the house acting all scared, telling us they couldn't find the other one. I'm so freaked out about spiders, you couldn't pay me to get in there!

FFF - Happy Autumn!

Even though I'm sad to see summer go, I do love fall with the cooler weather and beautiful colors. The trees have really started to turn here, just in the last few days. We went to the pumpkin patch after school one day this week, and I couldn't resist snapping a few pix.

Mia seems to have decided not to show her teeth anymore for pictures. I couldn't get one big smile out of her. She also would spring up the instant my camera clicked. She was so fascinated with all of the pumpkins!

FFF - Summer Memories

The Favorite Foto Friday theme for today is Summer Memories. Even though this was our hardest summer, with all of the adjustments of bringing a new, older child into our home, my best memory is probably the feeling that our family is complete --- that we can stop stressing about getting Mia here, and just get on with living our lives! We're not completely adjusted yet. There are good days and bad days. Sometimes a good day can turn sour, and sometimes a sour day can turn good, but the ups and downs are so much better than the days that we were "in process" and not knowing. We're looking forward to many good summer memories in the future!
