I'm afraid I've gotten lazy about keeping up this blog. Too much going on, I guess, and no time for picture taking. Here are a few that I took this evening.

Andy went to the groomer today, and is all clean and good-smelling. It doesn't take long for that muzzle to start getting orange, though.

FFF - Bio Family Reunion

Last weekend we traveled to Lexington, KY for a reunion of Mia's bio-siblings. What fun to see them all together. Our last reunion was 2 years ago, and the youngest, Anai had not yet come home. Here are a few of my favorites from the weekend.

FFF - My Favorite For This Week

Well, I know it's late in the day, but it is still Friday for a few more hours! Claire has been at camp this week, and I've been off work, supposedly to help my husband with a home project, but have ended up spending nearly every minute with Mia. She CAN be an independent player, but prefers to spend one-on-one time with me. I know it helps with the bonding, but it surely is exhausting! Here's my favorite picture I took of her this week.

Dog Sitting

Andy's dad, Toto came over last night, and will be staying this week while his family is on vacation. He's just as cute as can be, and MUCH more mellow than Andy. Here are a few pictures.


Toto's only fault is that he wants to mark everything, so he wears a belly band in the house. Last night his 2 bands got wet and we had no others, so I put this bandanna on him while the bands dried. He said he didn't feel too dignified! The bands stay dry longer if we put pads in them, so now we have sanitary napkins out on the kitchen table - I had a hysterectomy in 2001 so it's been a LONG time since I've had those around the house, and NEVER on the kitchen table :-) - but he is so worth it!

Andy needs a haircut - I didn't realize how much until I saw him next to Toto!

Mia's having a good time with them. But she wants to trade. Andy will grow up and mellow one day...we hope... :-)

FFF - Redneck swimming

We've been trying to get the girls to play outside more, and this is what they came up with to play with. Kind of cracks me up, because somewhere in my mom's pictures are some of my sister and I doing the same thing when we were kids.
